So this week we are starting our series called Loud Mouth. It is so fun and is gonna be so fun during the next couple of weeks.

This week we learned that one of the most beautiful and dangerous abilities we have is the ability to talk. We have the ability to destroy or build with our words. We can all recall a time when someone said something to really hurt us and those words have stuck with us. We can also recall a time when we were built up, when we were encouraged by something that someone said about us.

With our words we can find a peaceful life, no drama, no tension because maybe you said something you shouldn't have. You should choose your words carefully. Most of the time if you want to be heard you need to be the one that says the least. How about it are you a loud mouth? what about 5:4 how is it going?

This week we continued our series on hope.
We found out that Often times when Hope shows up it is not what we had hoped for.

Alot of times we hope for temporal things, things for our felt needs. Things that we think we want or we hope to get out of the consequences from bad choices that we have made.

Jesus offers real Hope. Not hope to get out of trouble but forgiveness. He knows our on felt need, He knows our real need for Hope, forgiveness.

What are somethings that you have hoped for that were just felt needs, something that would not be eternal?

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where Christ gave you real Hope? Tell your story.

This month we have been talking about Hope. The type of life you will lead is directly related to what you place your hope in. We are tempted to place our hope in many things but mainly in circumstances, others or yourself.

This is a place where we want you to sound off. We want to hear your thoughts on what you are thinking and what God is speaking to you.

This week we are talking about being People of the Second chance. We have all been given a second chance and we need to be that for other people.

We want to give you some thoughts and questions to think about. The following statements are courtesy of:

People of the Second Chance are:

1. fast to forgive

2. not defined by their mistakes

3. defend the weak

4. open to all

5. no perfect people allowed

Which of these are the hardest for you to be? What do you think of these?

What have you been placing your hopes in? What has God been speaking to you?

What is your story of being given a second chance?

It is your turn to sound off.
